Teenage mom, infant go missing in Brooklyn, police say

A young mother and her newborn son went missing from their Brooklyn home Monday, according to police who were still looking for them Wednesday morning.

Zariya Bennett, 16, and her two-week-old baby Kayden Bennett were last seen together at their home on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York around 9 p.m. Monday, police said.

Itโ€™s unclear why they left the house.

Zariya Bennett is described as 5โ€™7โ€ tall and 135 pounds with a dark complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants.
