William Smith College forward Seneca Blakely-Armitage factored into all three goals as the fourth-ranked Herons cruised to a 3-0 win over Bard College at the Lorenzo Ferrari Soccer & Lacrosse Complex this afternoon. Blakely-Armitage matched her career-high, recording five points on two goals and an assist.
With their sixth straight victory William Smith is now 10-0-3 overall on the season with a 5-0-2 mark in Liberty League play. The win also clinched the Herons’ spot in the six-team Liberty League tournament.
Ruth Hotaling scored the other goal for William Smith. Kirsten Nelsonand Zoe Weeks split time in goal and did not face a shot.
Seymone Rosenberg played all 90 minutes in goal for the Raptors (4-8-1, 0-6-1). She made 10 saves.

SCORING SUMMARY
- Blakely-Armitage opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Standing at the top of the six-yard box, she one-timed a crossing pass from Katrine Berg into the back of the net. It was Blakely-Armitage’s fourth goal of the year.
- Ten minutes later, Hotaling used her left foot to slide a shot into the lower left corner of the cage. It was her second goal of the year. Blakely-Armitage was awarded an assist on the goal.
- In the 54th minute, Blakely-Armitage stole the ball away from a defender, dribbled 12 yards and fired a shot from the top of the 18-yard box past Rosenberg for her fifth goal of the year.

William Smith will be back in action tomorrow, Oct. 22, when it takes on Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
