Kidnap attempt of teen girl, assault on Staten Island fueled by PCP, lawyer says; client off to prison

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— A Port Richmond man linked to a pair of frightening attacks in his community is now headed to prison.

Vito Forestier, 47, of Nicholas Avenue, pleaded guilty last month to charges of second-degree attempted kidnapping and third-degree assault in connection with the September 2021 incidents involving female victims.
