NFL: How to land a ticket to see the New York Jets vs. the New York Giants on Sunday

The Battle of the Big Apple … uh, rather the Battle of the Meadowlands — will take place Sunday when the New York Giants and the New York Jets will face each other Sunday at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

The Giants (2-5) beat Washington won last week to resurrect their season — at least for now — while the 3-3 Jets are coming off a bye.

Both teams are still in the playoff hunt, and thatโ€™s why tickets for Sundayโ€™s game are hot items.

Even though both teams call MetLife home, itโ€™s the Giants home game and many tickets sold on the secondary market are coming from existing Giants ticket holders.

Vividseats.com has hundreds of seats available, starting for $218 in the upper level. Prices for better seats rise to more than $1,500 on the site. Other tickets with special packages are going for a whopping $30,000 (and Taylor Swift wonโ€™t even be in the house).

Though itโ€™s common for speculative tickets to be available on the secondary market first, they may be more expensive than the ones sold to the general public.

Donโ€™t forget Vividseats.com is a secondary ticket market place, where existing ticket holders sell their tickets, usually at higher prices than face value. And other fees can cost up to 56 percent more than the actual tickets themselves. So check out the final price of each ticket before you commit to buying.
