Justin Timberlake is cancelling several scheduled performances following backlash over claims made about him in former girlfriend Britney Spears’ new memoir, the Daily News is reporting.
The cancelled shows were to be part of a promotional tour for his upcoming album.
In “The Woman in Me,” Spears makes several surprising revelations about the “Sexy Back” singer, including that he impregnated her and talked her into having an abortion.
Spears also claims Timberlake cheated on her during the relationship, while he publicly claimed that Spears had been unfaithful and had broken his heart, the report said.
As of Wednesday, the autobiography had sold more than 400,000 copies, the report said.
