Ryan Fitzpatrick keeps his word, gives shirtless hug to Bills’ Josh Allen after win over Buccaneers (Video)

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a man of his word.

Heading into the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the former Bills QB and current Amazon Thursday Night Football analyst promised to go shirtless if Josh Allen played with emotion in the game.

“He doesn’t have to hurdle anybody,” Fitzpatrick said on the QB Room podcast. “He doesn’t have to run over anybody, but I want to see him fired up on the sideline. I don’t want to see him just sitting there, even after a good play. He’s just become a little too calm for me and calm is like not Josh. That’s not where he needs to be. Just get the guy fired up a little bit. I would love to see him run somebody over and give a first down signal,” Fitzpatrick told the QB Room podcast. “And chest bump a lineman and just see the Bills fans go crazy and I will take my shirt off on set. That’s what gets me juiced up.”

Allen fired Fitzpatrick up with his three touchdown performance and postgame, Fitzpatrick ripped off his shirt, flexed with Billy Buffalo and went on to hug Allen. You can see the video below.

Allen finished the game completing 31-of-40 passes for 324 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He added an additional 41 yards and a rushing touchdown on seven carries.
