TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – An unspecified threat resulted in a heavy police response and evacuation of the Poughkeepsie Galleria on Sunday afternoon. Town of Poughkeepsie police said at approximately 3:00 p.m. that “There is no threat to the public at this time.”
The mall has been evacuated “out of precaution” according to the police.
The public is asked to avoid the area during the ongoing investigation.
