Michigan Avenue Lift Bridge to be closed weekdays for two weeks in November

The Michigan Avenue Lift Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on weekdays during a two-week period in November to accommodate the completion of a construction project that began earlier this year, according to the Buffalo Department of Public Works.

The drawbridge over the Buffalo River between Ohio and Ganson streets will be closed from 9 a.m. Nov. 6 until 3 p.m. Nov. 10 and from 9 a.m. Nov. 13 to 3 p.m. Nov. 17.

However, the lift bridge will be open on the weekends during these two weeks.
