Alec Baldwin wants family reality show
Keeping up with the Baldwins? Alec Baldwin wants to do a family reality show with his wife, Hilaria, and their seven children. (Sorry, no Baldwin brothers TV show.) The 65-year-old actor told Kelly Ripa on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast that the couple is entertaining pitches about his family so he can stay in New York more. He told a story about bringing all the kids to L.A. for a job once and realized he was “gonna break even” because traveling with such large, “Jon & Kate Plus 8″-size brood is expensive.
“Everything’s about my family. I have really tried in the last several years, once we had five and then six, and then seven kids. I can’t go anywhere for any length of time,” Baldwin said. “In the old days I’d jump on a plane and go to L.A… It was easy to pick up and go… I need 12 plane tickets — nannies, kids, my wife, I need, like, 11. They don’t even have 11 seats in the business class section of the plane.”
Baldwin did not say how close they are to doing a TV show, but added that he’d like to do less acting and spend more time traveling with his kids. He and Hilaria share Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 3, Lucia, 2, and Ilaria, 1; Alec also has a 28-year-old model daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
‘Succession’ star crashes into pizza shop
“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Succession” star Alan Ruck reportedly crashed into a pizza shop with his electric truck on Wednesday. ET reports the 67-year-old actor was behind the wheel of his Rivian R1T when it allegedly hit another vehicle from behind, pushing it into an intersection and causing it to hit another vehicle while Ruck’s truck collided with another car before crashing into Raffalo’s Pizza in Los Angeles. TMZ reports police are investigating, but there were no injuries reported and no indication of DUI.
