NEWBURGH – A subject is in custody after they attempted to flee from a traffic stop on Fullerton Avenue on Tuesday morning. City of Newburgh police attempted to stop a vehicle on Fullerton Avenue around 10:45 a.m. when it attempted to flee, striking another vehicle and becoming disabled.
One subject in the vehicle is said to have had a weapon. The person was arrested by city cops.
The City of Newburgh Police were assisted at the scene by the City of Newburgh Fire Department, New York State Police, and at least one unit from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
