MIDDLE HOPE – A woman was injured Sunday morning when she lit a propane tank in her taco wagon parked on Route 9W in the Middle Hope section of the Town of Newburgh and it exploded.
Authorities said the woman had apparently turned on the gas but did not light the flame immediately. When she did proceed to light it, it blew up.
She was rushed to the hospital with burns, the extent of which were not immediately known.
