Susan Sarandon dropped by agents after anti-Jewish statements at pro-Palestinian protest: Report

Actress Susan Sarandon has been ditched by her agents at UTA after making what could be considered anti-Jewish statements while participating in a pro-Palestinian protest in Manhattan, the New York Post is reporting.

Sarandon, 77, has been railing against Israel for the last few several weeks and sources told the Post that staffers at UTA were hurt by the Oscar award-winning actressโ€™ statements.

Sarandon whoโ€™s been had a client of UTA since 2014, reportedly said:

โ€œThere are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.โ€

She previously left social media followers angry following the reposting of a tweet from a far-right account claiming an Israeli helicopter was responsible for the death of Israeli citizens on Oct. 7, the report said.
