STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Come for Santa, then stay to sup afterwards in restaurant-rich Annadale this Sunday. The South Shore Business Improvement District (South Shore BID) promises the borough’s biggest tree lighting event replete with live entertainment.
The annual Annadale extravaganza is set for Sunday, Nov. 26 at 820 Annadale Rd. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is a free event sponsored by Councilman Joe Borelli’s office, Hudson Wealth Management, and Molloy Electric, PRcision LLC and The South Shore BID.
“This event highlights what the South Shore BID is all about. Bringing the community together to highlight the businesses and beauty of our towns while enjoying a holiday tradition,” said Gary Fleming, President of the South Shore BID and Broker/Owner of Emerald Elite Realty.
Highlights include a showcase from Miss Caroline’s Dance Elite, a trackless train ride and bouncy houses. Organizers plan for a visit from The Grinch. Santa will be available for photo ops and gift consultation.
