MONTICELLO – As is the case every holiday season, there are some families who have difficulty making ends meet and buying presents for the kids.
That is where the United Way of Sullivan County comes in with its annual toy drive.
Collections will run from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Monticello office from Monday, November 27 through the week of December 18.
United Way’s Julian Dawson said toys and games should be new and unwrapped. No used toys will be accepted for health and safety reasons.
Several other organizations, like the Marines’ Toys for Tots and many churches in the Mid-Hudson and Catskill regionals also college toys so that every child has a joyous holiday season.
