Salary: $41,862.00

Residency Requirements: None but preference may be given to city of Amsterdam Residents. To meet the preference, a candidate must have been a legal resident of the City of Amsterdam for a period of at least one (1) month immediately preceding the dates of the written test. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered university with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Services or a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program(s) eligibility determination and public contact or in a closely related field; OR
2. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered University with an associate degree in Social Sciences, Human Services or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program(s) eligibility determination and public contact or in a closely related field; OR
3. Graduation from High School and ten (10) years of full-time paid experience in a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program(s) eligibility determination and public contact or in a closely related…
