14-year-old boy taken to Syracuse hospital after being shot in chest and arm, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. — A 14-year-old boy was taken to a Syracuse hospital after being shot in the chest and arm in Utica on Saturday, police said.

The teen was shot at 12:40 a.m. on the 1000 block of Knox St, said Lt. Michael Curley, a spokesperson for the Utica police.

When police arrived they found the teen and “several other parties” on the 1000 block of Wagner St, Curley said.
