The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Scott M. Atkinson, a 41-year-old resident of Auburn, following an investigation into a larceny incident in the town of Lyons.
Atkinson faces charges of petit larceny linked to an event that occurred in 2022.
The arrest is a result of an investigation into a complaint where Atkinson was alleged to have accepted advance payment for work that he subsequently failed to complete.
Atkinson has been issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
