However, with limited budgetary resources, potential adjustments to Medicaid, one of the state’s largest expenditures, are likely.
Governor Hochul’s administration remains committed to reinforcing the state’s healthcare system, as evidenced by a substantial $22 billion multi-year commitment in the enacted state budget. This includes increases in Medicaid reimbursement rates and efforts to strengthen the health care workforce, underscoring the state’s dedication to the well-being of New Yorkers.
