Syracuse pulls away in second half to beat Georgetown (full coverage)

The Syracuse Orange used a second-half surge to pull away from longtime rival Georgetown, 80-68, at Capital One Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Judah Mintz scored a game-high 25 points for Syracuse (7-3), who have won four of their last five contests. JJ Starling had his breakout game, netting a season-high 21 points. Quadir Copeland also had a big day, notching a career-high 14 points.

The Orange shot 54% from the field and 45% from beyond the arc while outrebounding the Hoyas 35-33.
