Bills hold off Chiefs to keep playoff hopes alive (full coverage)

The Buffalo Bills kept their playoff hopes alive with a huge 20-17 road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, moving to 7-6 on the season.

Tyler Bass nailed a 39-yard field goal with 1:57 remaining to give the Bills a 23-20 lead, and the Sean McDermott-led defense got a stop on 4th-and-15, giving the Bills the win right after the Chiefs had a touchdown taken off the board on an offside call.

Josh Allen completed 23-of-42 passes for 233 yards with a touchdown. He also carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards and a score.

James Cook had a big day, catching five passes for 83 yards and a touchdown while running the ball 10 times for 58 yards.

Dawson Knox had three catches for 36 yards after missing five games due to an injury. Stefon Diggs was targeted 11 times but had just four catches for 24 yards.
