Hopewell teen who threatened his uncle with a knife last week arrested again after hotel incident

Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Hopewell man following an incident at a motel in Hopewell less than a week after he threatened his uncle with a knife.

According a news release, Jacob Bartosch, 19, was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief after breaking a window at the Finger Lakes Hotel.

He was taken into custody without incident and arraigned on the new charge. Last week, Bartosch had received a ride from his uncle to the Department of Social Services, but while they were in the car together โ€“ the teen threatened his uncle with a knife.

The mischief charge will be answered at a later date.
