KINGSTON – Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger has signed the county’s 2024 budget of $412 million that she said will pave the way for new investments in infrastructure, housing, climate, and mental health, among other issues.
Metzger said the spending plan keeps taxes flat.
“Heading into 2024, we will be ale to rebuild our infrastructure, build new housing, combat the climate crisis, and so much more,” the county executive said on Monday as she signed the budget.
The county legislature adopted the budget on December 6 by a vote of 18 to three with two absences.
