Manlius home swatted; caller falsely reported hearing gunfire come from house, police say

Manlius, N.Y. — A home in the town of Manlius was targeted by a swatting call to 911 claiming gunshots could be heard coming from the house on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Police and a negotiator were called around 3:07 p.m. to the home at 14 Edgewood Parkway, off the Fayetteville-Manlius Road, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
