This is the second in a series of stories about Staten Island’s worst parking lots.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Everybody’s got their least favorite parking lot.
And I heard from a lot of you when I wrote about my 10 worst parking lots a couple of weeks ago. Turns out I’d forgotten some of the worst offenders.
Well, thanks to your submissions, here are 10 more of the worst parking lots on Staten Island, including what may be the worst one of them all.

Where do we begin? Based on the responses I received to my last story, this could be the worst place to park on Staten Island. And that’s saying something.
Readers complained about the narrow lanes, tight parking spaces, slim entry/exit areas and dangerous one-way driving lanes at Trader Joe’s.
“A true accident waiting to happen,” said one.
They also said that the lot is poorly lit and that drivers consistently ignore the “no left turn” arrow at the exit onto Nome Avenue.
“The NYPD could make a fortune there,” a reader quipped.
With two entrances/exits from Richmond Avenue, drivers approach the narrow front parking strip at Trader Joe’s from both ends, but the lanes aren’t wide enough for cars to pass in both directions. The corner lot is too small and is frequently jammed by cars trying to park in the row up against the Nome Avenue shopping center, as that row feeds the Nome Avenue exit.
The verdict from one Staten Islander: “Trader Joe gets no business from me due to this ridiculous parking lot.”
The lot was highlighted on an earlier list of Staten Island’s worst parking lots as well.
