STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An 18-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he flipped his car in Rosville Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Rossville Avenue and Woodrow Road, a spokeswoman for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information said.
According to police, the man suffered a medical episode and drove his 2018 Jeep SUV into a parked 2019 Dodge Ram.
The Jeep appeared totaled with significant body damage, its airbags deployed and its windows caved in.
The 18-year-old man was transported in stable to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton for further evaluation, the spokeswoman said.
