Syracuse police investigate Christmas Eve shooting at gas station

Syracuse, N.Y. — City police are investigating a shooting at a Citgo Gas Station reported on Sunday night.

At about 8:26 p.m., police responded to the Citgo Gas Station at 4220 S. Salina St. to investigate a report of a shooting, according to police spokesman Lt. Malinowski. Police found several casings at the scene.

Shortly after the shooting, a 29-year-old man arrived at Upstate University Hospital on Christmas Eve with several gunshot wounds. Heโ€™s expected to live, according to Syracuse police.
