N.J. coach charged with sexually assaulting a child multiple times

A 33-year-old New Jersey man was arrested and charged last week with sexually assaulting a child multiple times at two locations in Bergen County, authorities announced Wednesday.

Donald Kumar Davis, a strength and speech coach from Nutley in Essex County, was charged on Dec. 19 after an investigation revealed that he sexually assaulted a child in Washington Township on two occasions and in Wyckoff on one occasion, according to the Bergen County Prosecutorโ€™s Office.

Davis, who was arrested in Paramus, is charged with two counts each of second-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.

He remains in jail pending a first court appearance. Attorney information was not immediately provided.
