Police say a Penn Yan woman was arrested after a disturbance in the village.
According to a news release, Rebecca Thompson, 27, was charged with criminal mischief after damaging a doorway leading into a residence.
She was arrested and transported to the Yates County Jail pending arraignment.
The charges will be answered at a later date and an order of protection was requested.
