Staten Islander shares video of alleged theft of catalytic converter from vehicle parked in front of house

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Five minutes prior to a Staten Island man exiting his home to head to his job recently, his work vehicle was allegedly stripped of its catalytic converter by thieves.

A 35-year-old male, who declined to have his name published in the Advance/SILive.com, shared what he claims is video footage of individuals stealing the catalytic converter from a Nissan SUV parked on the street outside his home on the South Shore around 6:25 a.m. on Thursday.
