Last Chance to see Museum of Ice Cream’s ‘NYC Pinkmas’ this holiday season

For ice cream enthusiasts or anyone enjoying New York City for the holidays, a visit to the Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) is a must, as its “NYC Pinkmas” celebration enters its final three weeks of its winter run, as all its winter wonderland decorations will soon be a memory, as of Jan. 24.

My family and I, including two of my three daughters, ages 23 and 20, thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the MOIC, located at 558 Broadway, in the SoHo district of Manhattan. With whimsical holiday decor, specialty cocktails, and unlimited ice cream on every floor, what’s not to love?

The MOIC pulled out all of the stops: Pink trees, jolly holiday music, limited-edition specialty Pinkmas drinks, and sweet snacks available for purchase, among other delightful treats for the senses. There was even a giant slide on the third floor for the young and/or adventurous to enjoy, as an alternative to using the elevator. I did not partake, but noted the squeals of delight of the guests who did.

Spoiler alert: The final floor of your Pinkmas tour concludes with a giant indoor playground of sorts, replete with enormous swings, whack-a-mole games, Skee-Ball machines, a basketball shoot-out, and jungle gym. Still not convinced? How about unlimited cotton candy and even more all-you-can-eat ice cream to entice your sweet tooth? You will think you have died and gone to ice cream heaven.

And it gets even sweeter: If you visit MOIC during Pinkmas season (through Jan. 15) you will receive an additional, complimentary ticket for a future visit (which you can redeem from Jan. 18 to Feb. 29, 2024), so you can gift the magic to a friend and loved one for Valentine’s Day.

To purchase tickets, visit Museum of Ice Cream. You can even score 30% off tickets at certain time slots so be sure to check those out.
