The Buffalo Bills (10-6) held on for a 27-21 victory over the New England Patriots (4-12) on Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium despite the offense struggling for a second straight week.
With the win and the Dolphins’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Bills’ upcoming road trip to Miami next week will be for the AFC East championship and a home playoff game.
The defense was the difference-maker in this one, as they forced four turnovers and recorded three sacks. Rasul Douglas led the way with two of them, including a pick-six. Ed Oliver tallied an interception and a sack, while Terrel Bernard added two sacks.
Josh Allen completed 15-of-30 passes for 169 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. However, he did run for two scores and finished with 44 yards on 11 carries.
Dalton Kincaid had a career-high 87 yards on four catches.
