The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Auburn man for DWI after a traffic stop on Arterial East near Veteran’s Memorial Parkway in Aurelius.
According to a news release, 36-year-old Robert Bishop III, was arrested for DWI, unlicensed operation, suspended registration, and other traffic violations.
He was stopped on New Year’s Day around 2 a.m. for an uninspected vehicle and suspended registration due to no insurance.
It was also determined that he was intoxicated.
He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
