The season premiere of “Ru-Paul’s Drag Race” airs Friday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. EST on MTV with a 90-minute episode.
And according to MTV, the cast for the 16th season of the Emmy award-winning global phenomenon is simply outrageous.
In the reality competition series, a new set of talented queens will face off in design and performance challenges in hopes of being crowned America’s next drag superstar.
The new season will see 14 dazzling new queens compete for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and a cash prize of $200,000 for the winner.
This season marks the 15th anniversary of the “Drag Race” franchise, which first premiered on Feb. 2, 2009 on Logo.
