There is a lot riding on Sunday’s primetime matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, but the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Florida apparently did not get the message.
This week, a Bills fan living in Florida captured the resort’s billboard touting the Dolphins as AFC East champions. The message on the billboard read, “Fins win AFC East champs.”
You can see the billboard and message below.
In all likelihood, Hard Rock was likely testing the message in the event that Miami defeated the Bills on Sunday Night Football. Nonetheless, it’s not a good look as the Hard Rock likely runs messages regularly on their billboard and such a test wasn’t necessary.
Sunday’s matchup is big for both teams. Entering the weekend, the stakes are higher for Buffalo as the team could potentially miss the playoffs if they are not victorious. The winner of the matchup will lock up the AFC’s No. 2 seed. That would line the victorious team up to potentially host two playoff games in January.
Despite what the Hard Rock Casino and Resort says, the AFC East is up for grabs on Sunday night and the stakes could not be higher.
