Travel alert: NYC Ferry Service suspended due to high winds

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The New York City Emergency Management Department has issued a travel advisory for NYC Ferry Service riders as a strong storm continues to impact the region.

Due to high winds, the service on the St. George route between Manhattan and Staten Island is suspended until further notice.

Riders are advised to consider alternate routes.

Staten Island Ferry service is not suspended.
