Tickets for National Women’s Hall of Fame induction go on sale soon: Supporters can buy annual memberships for $18.48 to $18,480

The National Women’s Hall of Fame has announced that tickets for its upcoming induction ceremony will be available for purchase starting January 16. The ceremony, set to take place on March 5 in New York City, will feature the induction of 10 prominent American women and will be televised on PBS stations nationwide.

Members of the 1848 Society, named after the first women’s rights convention, will get early access to purchase tickets for this highly anticipated event. Ticket prices and other details will be released by the Hall’s board of directors soon. The 1848 Society offers various membership levels, providing different periods of early access to tickets, with membership prices ranging from $18.48 to $18,480.

The Hall of Fame’s executive director, Jennifer Gabriel, emphasized the significance of the event, especially during Women’s History Month. Acknowledging the ceremony’s relocation to NYC might evoke mixed feelings, Gabriel assured that Seneca Falls remains the Hall’s home. The move aims to increase national access to the Hall’s stories and ensure its long-term sustainability. Less than 5% of the Hall’s annual budget is covered by museum visits and gift shop sales, highlighting the need for broader support. The 2024 induction ceremony’s broadcast from NYC is expected to generate increased revenue and visitor interest in the Hall located in Seneca Falls.
