A man from Montour Falls, Kenton Jones-Watkins, is likely to serve time in prison after admitting to a serious crime in Yates County Court. He pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated criminal contempt.
The 29-year-old was arrested by the Penn Yan Police following a complaint. They investigated and found that Jones-Watkins had called someone multiple times even though he was not supposed to. This was against an order of protection.
Jones-Watkins is now waiting for his sentencing, which will be decided on February 13.
