CITY OF HUDSON – Senior Sergeant Christopher Filli died while on duty on Friday, January 12, Police Chief Mishanda Franklin announced on Saturday.
The chief said Filli suffered a medical emergency of which was not immediately known and is being investigated.
“Senior Sergeant Filli’s dedicated service to our department and city will be remembered, and his loss is felt profoundly by our community,” the chief said.
He was a “respected and dedicated member of HPD for 22-plus years. His commitment to duty and selfless service left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of working along him,” Franklin said. “He was an exceptional officer and will be greatly missed by all.”
