Deputies identify man killed in three-vehicle crash on icy roads in Marcellus

Marcellus, N.Y. — A man who died after a pickup truck spun out of control on icy roads in Marcellus Saturday night has been identified.

The man killed is Anthony Huddleston Jr., 36, of Syracuse.

Around 5:50 p.m., Huddleston was driving an SUV when a pickup truck lost control and hit the SUV head-on, Deputy Doug Roser, an Onondaga County Sheriffโ€™s Office spokesperson, said in a news release. The vehicles collided at the intersection of West Seneca Turnpike and Frank Gay Road, he said.

A third vehicle drove into a ditch to avoid the collision, Roser said.

Huddleston was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Roser said.

The two other drivers were uninjured, he said.
