Be sure to tune in to the season four premiere of “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” the series set to debut on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. ET 9 p.m. CT on NBC.
Curious about the cast? No changes have yet been announced, according to the NBC website.
Note: The series centers on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character Elliot Stabler,” a veteran detective who returns to the NYPD in New York following his wife’s murder. Stabler joins the Organized Crime Task Force, led by Sergeant Ayanna Bell.
Season three stars Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay, Danielle Mone Truitt, Ainsley Seiger, Rich Gonzalez and Brent Antonello, will all be making returns.
“I’m pleased to continue my four-decade relationship with Universal Television and NBC,” Executive Producer Dick Wolf noted in a statement. “All six shows being picked up again is the ultimate accolade to our incredible casts, producers, and writers. I’d also like to thank our loyal fans who have kept our NBC shows on the air for what will be a cumulative 84 seasons.”
“We understand the emotional connection our audience has with these characters and we can’t wait to bring more of their stories to the forefront next season,” said Lisa Katz, the president of scripted programming at NBCUniversal and Streaming. “A huge thank you to Dick and his amazing team who are the masters of producing incredibly compelling television week after week.”
As for what to expect for the plot — that is still up in the air.
But there’s not a doubt that they’ll be plenty of big time nail-biting — just like what unfolded in last season’s intriguing episodes.
