Dr. Christopher Ryan, representing a group of concerned parents in the district, issued a statement titled โUnity in the Community.โ He urges the Romulus Board of Education to foster unification, fair treatment, and a safe working environment for all staff and teachers. The statement emphasizes the need for transparency and action.
โEach member of this Board has taken an Oath to be a representative of your community and a leader of your district. You are stewards of both your districtโs children and its tax dollars and you are an advocate for all students, public education, and an educated public,โ Ryan said. โWe respectfully request that you govern with an open mind and realize that we the public, your staff, and the children, rely on you as our elected officials.โ
