Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson announced the arrest of a Waterloo man on serious weapons charges. Blye E. Delair, 40, faces four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts each of criminal sale of a firearm and ghost gun, and criminal sale of a semi-automatic rifle.
According to Sheriff Thompson, Delair allegedly sold semi-automatic โghost gunsโ on two separate occasions. These ghost guns are particularly concerning due to their untraceable nature and lack of serial numbers. Delairโs arrest underscores the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces with the illegal sale and distribution of firearms.
Following his arrest, Delair was processed and arraigned at Seneca Countyโs Centralized Arraignment Part Court. He was then remanded to the Seneca County Jail.
