NFL star insists he didn’t file for divorce, court records show otherwise

An NFL star finds himself in a precarious situation with his wife.

Tyreek Hill took to X on Tuesday to dispute claims that he had filed for divorce after just two months of marriage. The Miami Dolphins All-Pro receiver adamantly insisted that he and his wife, Keeta Vaccaro, were happily married.

Vaccaro is the sister of former NFL player Kenny Vaccaro, who played eight years in the league. The couple, who got engaged in 2021, just recently married in November 2023 during the Dolphins bye week.

However, a filing to Broward County court showed that a petition for dissolution of marriage from Vaccaro was filed on Hill’s behalf by his attorney.

“Boy no the heck we didn’t so don’t put that in the air !!! We are happily married and gone stay that way,” he wrote in response to a post on X referencing the divorce.

It’s been a turbulent end to 2023 and start to 2024 for Hill.

Last month, he was hit with two paternity suits via two different women who accused him of not adequately providing for children he fathered with each of them. Earlier this month, his Florida mansion went up in flames.

Though no one was hurt, the fire tore through the roof of the home.

Hill has yet to comment further on the alleged divorce filing. He comes off arguably the best season of his illustrious eight-year NFL career.

Hill tied his career-high with 119 receptions and set a new career-best with 1,799 receiving yards. He also nabbed 13 touchdowns, the second-best mark of his career.
