Stores in shopping center hit with anti-Semitic graffiti

SCARSDALE – Two stores were vandalized with anti-Semitic graffiti at the Golden Horseshoe shopping center in Wilmot Road in Scarsdale.

The graffiti was discovered Thursday morning and has since been removed.

The storefront windows had been spraypainted with the words “genocide supporter.”

“This ugly act of anti-Semitism has no place in Westchester or anywhere else,” said American Jewish Committee Westchester Director Myra Clark-Siegel. “Targeting businesses solely because they are located in an area with a considerable Jewish population is a vile form of hatred. We must all take a zero-tolerance approach to fight its spread.”
