HILLCREST – The Haverstraw Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that occurred Friday, January 26, at around 6:30 a.m.
Police said the incident occurred on Thiells Mt Ivy Road in the area of the Hillcrest firehouse.
Investigators are attempting to ascertain information about the accident and anyone who may have witnessed or has any information is asked to contact the Haverstraw Police Department Detective Bureau at 845-942-3730.
