Giants’ Mike Kafka back (for now), as Seahawks hire Ravens’ Mike Macdonald — which could hurt defensive coordinator search

The Seahawks are hiring Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to be their new head coach.

That means Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will return — or so it appears for now — for a third season in East Rutherford, though he might not call plays in 2024. Coach Brian Daboll after this past season did not rule out completely taking away play-calling duties from Kafka.
