An elderly woman was killed and another man injured in a fire that tore through a home on a residential Queens block Tuesday night, according to police and fire department officials.

First responders were called to the scene on 66th Avenue in Rego Park just before 11 p.m., as flames engulfed the two-story house.

After extinguishing the blaze about an hour later, firefighters found 86-year-old Rosemary Monoco inside. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and officials said a 54-year-old man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Two firefighters also sustained minor injuries. A total of 106 fire and EMS personnel responded to the incident, according to officials.

The FDNY is still investigating the cause of the fire.
