A Geneva man was taken into custody in Seneca Falls after an altercation with police on Thursday.
On February 1 police arrested Kenneth J. Marvin, age 37, of Geneva following a Domestic Disturbance.
According to a news release, police determined that Marvin had a warrant for his arrest.
While placing Marvin into custody he attempted to flee from police on foot, then fought with police on scene.
Marvin was charged with resisting arrest, criminal obstruction, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was also charged with a felony count of assault.
Police say Marvin was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
