The NYPD identified the 23-year-old man killed in a shooting incident in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn as Kereem Morgan.
Police responded to a report of shots fired around 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, evening near Union Street and Utica Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, now identified as Morgan, with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
Morgan was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals Kings County where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
