Ithaca College alum Elaine Martone wins 5th grammy award

Elaine Martone, an esteemed recording and music festival producer, and Ithaca College graduate, has clinched her fifth Grammy Award, this time being honored as the โ€œClassical Producer of the Yearโ€ at the 2024 ceremony. Martoneโ€™s acclaimed contributions to the classical music genre, particularly her involvement with the Ojai Music Festival, have once again been recognized on musicโ€™s biggest stage.

Throughout her illustrious career, Martone has not only excelled at the Ojai Music Festival but has also held significant roles as the executive producer for the Spring for Music Festival at Carnegie Hall and spearheaded the production department at Telarc Records. Her work has consistently been at the forefront of classical music, blending innovative production techniques with a deep respect for the genreโ€™s traditions.
